Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, username, password, profile picture, and biography. If you organize or join an Adventure meetup, we also collect your phone number for SMS verification (sent to Twilio's Verify API for one-time code delivery).
- User Content: Videos you upload (including their audio tracks), profile pictures, comments, likes, hashtags, video descriptions, direct messages between you and other users, adventure meetup listings (name, description, location text, datetime), and other content you post on the Service.
- Communications: Information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback.
Information from Third-Party Services
- Social Login: If you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and (where provided) profile picture. We do not post on your behalf.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: Videos watched, interactions with content (likes, follows, comments, shares), time spent on the app, search queries you perform within the app, and feature usage. Search queries are stored on our server and used to power the personalized For You recommendation feed.
- Log Data: IP address, browser type, access times, pages viewed, and referring URLs.
- Location: General location based on IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Enable you to upload, share, and interact with video content
- Personalize your experience and content recommendations
- Send you updates, security alerts, and support messages

- Linode: Our hosting provider where all user data is stored and processed
- Cloudflare: Proxied web traffic (sees IP addresses, requests)
- Google Sign-In: Authentication (email, profile data) (Google Privacy Policy)
- Apple Sign-In: Authentication (email or Apple-provided relay email) (Apple Privacy Policy)
- Twilio: SMS verification for Adventure meetup participants. Your phone number is sent to Twilio's Verify API solely to deliver a one-time verification code; Twilio does not use it for marketing. (Twilio Privacy Policy)
- Pusher: Real-time notifications and direct messaging (connection data, real-time event payloads)
- Bunny CDN: Video delivery (viewing data, IPs)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Push notification delivery to your device (Firebase Privacy Policy)
- Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymized crash reports to improve app stability (no personally identifying information)
- Firebase Performance Monitoring: Anonymized performance metrics (no personally identifying information)
- Firebase Analytics: Aggregated usage analytics for understanding feature use
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in

- Backup copies are purged within 30 days
